Model Peningkatan Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia Berbasis Kecerdasan Emosional dan Karakter Karyawan

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja SDM. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh karakter karyawan terhadap kinerja SDM dan menganalisis dampak karakter karyawan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Bank Perkreditan Rakyat BKK Kota Semarang yang berjumlah 120 pegawai. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus sehingga seluruh populasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Sehingga jumlah karyawan yang menjadi responden adalah 120 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode partial least square dengan bantuan SmartPLS versi 3. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja SDM. Karakter karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja SDM dan karakter karyawan terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Kecerdasan emosional terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung karakter karyawan terhadap kinerja SDM karyawan.
