Abstract

Mahasiswa yang menuntut ilmu di peguruan tinggi, tak luput berhadapan dengan permasalahan selama mengemban pendidikan berupa tugas-tugas perkuliahan, motivasi diri yang menurun, perubahan sistem pembelajaran, dan konflik yang bersumber dari relasi sosial. Tujuan penelitian yakni melihat bagaimana hubungan antara self-disclosure dan psychological well being mahasiswa. Metodologi penelitian yakni penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitian kuantitatif koresional. Mahasiswa sebanyak 347 orang dari kota padang berpartisipasi menjadi responden penelitian di mana telah mengisi kuesioner skala self-disclosure serta psychological well being. Hasilnya diperoleh yakni terdapatnya hubungan signifikan terhadap self-disclosure dengan psychological well being dimana nilai korelasi yakni (r= 439 ; p : 0,000), hasilnya menunjukkan bahwasanya jika self-diclosure tinggi maka psychological well being mahasiswapun turut tinggi. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwasanya adanya korelasi positif dan signifikan antara variabel x dan y
