Mempertahankan Generasi Z: Bukti Verifikasi Kepuasan Kerja yang dirasakan pada Pandemi Covid 19

Abstract

Penelitian tentang sistem penghargaan dari praktik manajemen sumberdaya manusia jarang dianalisis. Beberapa studi ekstensif tentang MSDM masih terbatas dalam membahas hubungan penerapan sistem penghargaan total (SPT) terhadap karyawan. Studi ini menganalisis isu penting untuk memberikan masukan bagi perusahaan dalam merancang strategi kompensasi yang tepat agar berdampak pada kinerja perusahaan dengan produktivitas karyawan dan kepuasan kerja sebagai mediasi untuk generasi Z pada kondisi epidemi covid 19. Survei dilakukan terhadap 40 industri sektor jasa di Indonesia. Model persamaan struktural diterapkan untuk memverifikasi pengolahan data dengan rata – rata enam perwakilan diambil sebagai sampel berasal dari 40 perusahaan jasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SPT memberikan pengaruh positif pada hasil. Namun, fakta menarik dari temuan ini adalah, Generasi Z tidak mudah dipuaskan oleh insentif moneter, preferensi mereka telah bergeser dari masalah moneter ke kemampuan diri. Hasil empiris mengungkapkan bahwa SPT berfungsi sebagai alat untuk mendorong karyawan dan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja mereka. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus menggabungkan praktik SPT untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan produktivitas serta mempertahankan hubungan dengan pemangku kepentingan.
