Review Literatur: Kontribusi Self Esteem terhadap Subjective Well-Being pada Remaja Etnis Minang

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir banyak sekali penelitian tentang hubungan self esteem dan subjective well-being baik dari usia anak-anak, remaja, bahkan sampai lansia. Budaya tempat individu menetap sedikit banyaknya juga mempengaruhi subjective well-being dan self esteem. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kontribusi self esteem terhadap subjetive well-being pada remaja Minang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review dengan mengkaji dan menganalisa artikel-artikel yang sesuai dengan topik dan diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil dari kajian ini ditemukan self esteem merupakan variabel prediktor yang berpengaruh terhadap subjective well-being pada remaja Minang. Self esteem remaja Minang lebih dipengaruhi oleh hubungan relasi dengan orang terdekat (seperti keluarga, teman, dan orang yang spesial) dan prestasi yang akan mempengaruhi kebahagiaan remaja. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai kontribusi self esteem terhadap subjective well being pada remaja Minang kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk diteliti lagi secara lebih mendalam.
